The developer of Badger Mountain South will be constructing a roundabout at the intersection of Dallas Rd. & Trowbridge Blvd. This project is to improve both capacity and safety at the intersection as the area continues to grow and develop. The project will start on August 21st, 2024 with an anticipated completion date in the Summer of 2025. This project will be the first of several planned developer-driven projects along Dallas Road in the Badger Mountain South community.

The following items are included in the scope of work for the project:

• Roundabout construction
• Installation of sidewalks and ADA crossings along all direction of the roundabout
• Additional widening of Dallas Rd. to the north of the intersection
• Installation of associated city utilities
• Extension of electrical, fiber, and natural gas utilities
• Paving portions of Dallas Rd., Trowbridge Blvd., and Station Dr.
• New pavement markings

Motorists should anticipate delays for the duration of the project. The anticipated traffic impacts in 2024 are shoulder closures and lane closures for utility crossings. The anticipated traffic impacts in 2025 are lane shifts on Dallas Rd. northbound with a detour for a full closure on Trowbridge Blvd. and lane closures on Dallas Rd. southbound with a detour for left turns from Trowbridge Blvd. & Station Dr.
